New Acquisition & Planning Permission Granted – Craftplay Industrial Estate, Thorpe Road, Melton Mowbray

Rotherhill Developments has obtained planning permission to transform the former ‘Craft Play’ facility on Thorpe Road, Melton Mowbray.

The submission follows long-term occupier Anthony Peters Manufacturing Ltd rationalising their floor space requirements within the site and committing to a new 3-year lease.

The planning submission details the extensive refurbishment and sub-division of the remaining existing buildings to create an enterprise park of up to 13 units, directly targeted at fulfilling the demands of small businesses.

Ed Jeffrey from Rotherhill comments: “Newly delivered small industrial and quasi-industrial units have long been overdue within Melton and the wider locality. There is significant demand with very limited supply. Premises that are available are often outdated and of poor specification.”
