Rotherhill, the Midlands-based property developer and asset manager, has acquired the former Perrys car dealership in Alfreton, Derbyshire, with the support of its long-standing joint venture partner, DCS 452 Ltd.
Currently configured as a car dealership with a showroom, offices, and a large workshop, the c12,500 sq ft property is set upon a site area of 1.77 acres, representing a very low site density of 16%. There is a large self-contained service yard located to the rear of the property, in addition to a c1 acre parcel of surfaced land prominently fronting Nottingham Road at its junction with Cotes Park Lane. Notable nearby occupiers include Aldi, McDonald’s, B&M Stores, Iceland, PureGym, KFC and The Range.
Following completion of the deal in early February 2026, Rotherhill plans to market the property in both its existing configuration and subject to refurbishment or development, dependent upon the nature and quality of interest.
Ed Jeffrey, Director at Rotherhill, said: “This is a well-connected, low-density site that is suitable for a range of uses. It is conveniently positioned in a high footfall location characterised by mixed commercial and retail uses. We will consider all enquiries for the site ‘as is’ or split, on both a refurbished or newly developed basis, to meet market demand and occupier requirements.”
The acquiring agent in the purchase was Ben Flint of Flint Real Estate, who will be joined by Will Torr of heb Property Consultants in the marketing of the site.
Will Torr, Partner of heb commented: “We’re delighted to be working with Rotherhill and Ben Flint of Flint Real Estate in the marketing of this prime roadside opportunity in Alfreton. We are anticipating a substantial amount of interest and Rotherhill will be delighted to engage with both end users and owner occupiers to discuss their occupational requirements for the whole or part of the site.”
